netmedia was founded in April 2007 as a GmbH & Co. KG by Udo Schlegel together with a partner in Berlin. In 2008, netmedia GmbH & Co. KG was renamed netmedia GmbH. In this process, Udo Schlegel became the 100% owner and thus managing partner. As a small IT and networking company, we have grown continuously over the years – not only in terms of projects, but above all in terms of expertise. With every challenge, every customer project, and every use of new technologies, we have expanded our knowledge and further developed our solutions. Our customers have long benefited from a broad wealth of experience, practical expertise, and a team that shapes technological developments rather than simply keeping up with them.

With its captive portal solution iCruise.Systems, netmedia GmbH participated in several events at the "Seatrade Cruise Global" trade fair in the USA. This initially presented several challenges: preparation regarding development deadlines, logistical planning for the transport of the hardware, and even the trade fair itself – to name just a few. Here, too, efficient processes were quickly established within the team, and these hurdles were overcome with flying colors. Years later, trade fair operations are no longer uncharted territory, and the Seatrade booth became a company tradition and a showcase for overseas customers. The credentials: Know-how made in Germany. Thanks to the numerous feedback received at trade fairs, we were able to implement desired features quickly and efficiently through structured processes within the team and integrate the corresponding customer requests into the software.
